Who this policy covers

This policy applies to anyone who visits stratscaleadvisory.com, registers for a webinar or event, or otherwise provides personal information to Strat Scale Advisory, an independent consulting practice owned and operated by Adileh Mountain.

What information I collect

I collect only the information necessary to deliver the services and communications you have signed up for. This includes:

Information you provide directly. When you register for a webinar or event, I collect your first name, email address, and any optional information you choose to share, such as your job title or company name. If you contact me directly by email or through a contact form, I retain that correspondence.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, stratscaleadvisory.com collects basic technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. This is collected through Squarespace (my website platform) and Google Analytics or similar analytics tools. This data is aggregated and used only to understand how visitors use the site so I can improve it.

Information collected through third-party tools. When you register for a webinar, your registration data is processed through Zoom, which operates under its own privacy policy. When I send email communications, your contact information is stored in an email platform (such as Mailchimp or ConvertKit), which also operates under its own privacy policy. Links to each platform's privacy policy are provided at the bottom of this page.

How I use your information

I use the information I collect for the following purposes only:

  • To confirm your registration and send you access details for webinars and events you have signed up for

  • To send you follow-up materials related to sessions you attended, such as recordings and resource summaries

  • To send occasional emails about future events, sessions, or resources that may be relevant to your work, only if you have opted in to receive these

  • To improve the content and usability of this website using aggregated, anonymised analytics data

I do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

What I do not do with your information

To be unambiguous about this:

  • I do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever

  • I do not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes

  • I do not send unsolicited commercial email

  • I do not retain your information longer than necessary for the purposes described above

To opt out of marketing emails. Every email I send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time and your address will be removed promptly.

To request access to your data. You may contact me at any time to ask what information I hold about you.

To request deletion of your data. You may request that I delete your personal information from my records. I will action this within 30 days, subject to any legal or contractual obligations that require me to retain certain records.

To correct inaccurate information. If you believe information I hold about you is incorrect, contact me and I will update it.

Data retention

I retain contact information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected. If you unsubscribe from email communications, your address is removed from active lists within 30 days.

Security

I take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information, including using reputable third-party platforms with established security practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

This website and its services are intended for business professionals and are not directed at children under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in my practices or applicable law. When I do, I will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of this website or my services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
